Σύντροφοι, φίλοι και συναθλητές χόρεψαν την πιο συγκινητική Χάκα για το θάνατο του αστέρα του ράγκμπι Τζόνα Λόμου.

 

Ο Τζόνα Λόμου ήταν εμβληματικός αθλητής για το ράγκμπι. Διαγνώστηκε με σοβαρό πρόβλημα στα νεφρά, το 1995 και αναγκάστηκε ν' αποσυρθεί από την ενεργό δράση, το 2002.

Δύο χρόνια αργότερα έκανε την πρώτη μεταμόσχευση νεφρού και προσπάθησε να ξαναμπεί σε αγωνιστικούς ρυθμούς, συνεχίζοντας την καριέρα του σε Ουαλία και Γαλλία, ωστόσο, αντιλήφθηκε γρήγορα ότι ο οργανισμός του δεν ανταποκρινόταν όπως θα ήθελε.

 

Αποσύρθηκε οριστικά πλέον το 2006, και από το 2011, όταν και πλέον σταμάτησε να τον βοηθάει το μόσχευμα, άρχισε η κατάσταση της υγείας του να επιδεινώνεται πλέον μέρα με τη μέρα...

 

Ο Λόμου, που «έφυγε» απ' τη ζωή το πρωί της Τρίτης (18/11) συμπλήρωσε 63 συμμετοχές με τους «All Blacks» και έγινε ο πρώτος παγκοσμίου φήμης, Νεοζηλανδός αθλητής του ράγκμπι.
